Automotive BDC RESPONSIBILITIES

Serving customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
Servicing existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts through planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Adjusting the content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
Focusing on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
Submitting orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
Keeping the management informed by submitting activity and results in reports, viz. daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
Recommending changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational seminars and workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Providing historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • 2 years of phone sales experience
  • Self-Motivated
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • CRM Experience
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM preferred  but optional
  • Knowledge of Automotive shall be a big Plus
  • Experience with SalesForce or similar CRM
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred

Three to five years of industry sales experience

Familiarity with office software and phone systems
